Who Can Join 4-H?Ohio 4-H membership is based on a child's age and grade as of January 1 of the current project year. Eligibility for participation in 4-H projects and competitive events begins when a child is age 8 and in the 3rd grade. Any youth age 9 or above is eligible for project membership, regardless of grade level. Membership requires enrollment in an authorized Ohio 4-H club or group under the direction of an OSU Extension professional or an approved adult volunteer. A youth’s 4-H eligibility ends December 31 the year he or she turns 19. Joining Ohio 4-H is a privilege and responsibility for individuals and is subject to the Ohio 4-H Code of Conduct and applicable policies of The Ohio State University. Visit the Ohio 4-H Website for more info When are the meetings?Meetings begin in February and run through August. You can find all of our meetings on our calendar. Where do we meet?Normally, meetings are held at the Pettisville Community Park on Dame Street. Sometimes we're inside the pavilion, but once the weather warms up we hold our meetings outdoors.

How Do I Enroll?Attend a meeting or contact one of our advisors directly and we will gladly help get you enrolled and assist you with selecting a project that fits you!
(Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see a list of many of the 4-H projects available.) Enrollment deadline is April 1st of the current year. 4-H Volunteers and 4-H Members will enroll themselves into the 4-H online 2.0 system. This is a paperless system. 4-H online 2.0 is the same online database the county office has been using for the last few years to enter your enrollment on your behalf. This year the State 4-H Office is transitioning to the use of a completely online enrollment. The online enrollment will include the required documentation previously turned into the county office for enrollment. Club dues and enrollment fees will be collected separately. We will provide more information on this at a later time. Instructions and video on how to enroll online can be found here on the Extension Office's Website. Click below to enroll. v2.4honline.com |
